The Wolfkop Caravan Villages:
The concept of our Caravan Villages is simple and quirky: Take a 1970’s Jurgens, pimp it up, swap the ancient leaking tent for a funky Bedouin stretch number, and Voila! you’ve got the general picture.
The fun doesn’t stop here. Each of the three caravans have nature-themed interiors – In The Forest, On The Clouds and Love Bug – achieved by floor-to-ceiling photographic wallpaper.
Set on lovely green lawns above the river and equipped with aircon, lighting, fridge/freezer, linen and towels the experience is far removed from your average Jerry Springer trailer-park.
Each caravan sleeps two in a queen size bed, with the option of setting up an extra tent or two outside for those friends of yours overcome by a similar nostalgic urge – maximum 6 per site.
In true caravanning fashion the village shares a communal ablution block, making brushing your teeth and other bodily functions an ubuntu experience.
Outdoor activities at Wolfkop are by no means limited to braai and beer on the recliner outside the wagon.
Horse riding, fly fishing, hiking, mountain biking and a long scenic drive are also on the cards should you have the energy.
Kicking off at R550 nightly during the week and R750 on weekends and holidays for a double caravan and stretch tent, Wolfkop offers best value on week days.
Padkos, tartan thermos flask and favourite Springbok Treffers packed, make for Wolfkop – you’re about to feel 30 years younger.
